YUM!
Chalmers students recently created amazing gingerbread houses!

All Aboard!

Clad in pajamas, Chalmers third grade students took an imaginary adventure to the North Pole via the Polar Express (school bus).  They were greeted at the winter wonderland by Santa and treated to hot chocolate served by parent and retired teacher volunteers.  Every child received a bell from Santa.

G/T Student Presentations

Members of the Cooke County Retired School Personnel Association visited Chalmers Elementary December 4.

A program was presented by several fourth grade G/T students who shared books they had created.

S.M.A.R.T. Night
(Science & Math Are Rockin' Tonight!)

On November 8, 2007, Chalmers Elementary were led by some Raucous Rocket Scientists to show parents and students things like creating a rocket to launch and bubbles and more bubbles. Even the teachers had fun! Families interacted for learning fun. Water cycle bracelets were a hit! Math can be fun, too! Weather BINGO, Investigate, M & M Math and Pattern Block Puzzles were enjoyed by all.

Chalmers teachers and students enjoy dressing up as favorite book characters.

Pioneer Days

Third grade students in the Academy Program at Chalmers recently participated in a one room school experience.  They dressed as pioneer children, studied lessons, and played games the same way as children from the 1890s.
