“Cream the Eagles”
Pep Rally for District Basketball Tourney

At our last Pep Rally, the theme being “Cream the Eagles”, our teachers courageously volunteered for the chance to win(?) a pie in the face. The teacher getting the most money in their jar won(?) the pie in the face. The top earning teachers were Coach Mitchell, Ms. Richter, Coach Pope, Ms. Page, assistant Principal Mr. Willoughby, and Principal Paula Moore. It was a very close race between our two principals, with Mrs. Moore winning in the end.

Drug Free Week at GJHS

The Junior High Students and Faculty recently participated in "Drug Free Week". We had different dress themes for each day, kicking off the week with "Join the fight against drugs" wear camo. Wednesday the theme was "We all CAN be drug free" and we brought CANNED goods to school for VISTO, collecting over 600 pounds in one day! The week culminated with several Teacher vs Student games, the theme being "Game over when you play with drugs".
