My name is Amy Allen. I am very excited to  serve as the Assistant Principal of Chalmers Elementary. This will be my 17th year in education, all here at GISD. During my 17 years, I have worked with students in grades K-8, taught third and fourth grade, and been an instructional coach..

I have spent my entire life in Gainesville and I am a proud graduate of GISD. I am excited to share my passion for this district with everyone at Chalmers. I live in Gainesville with my husband and 3 daughters.
