I am excited to begin my second year as the Principal of Gainesville Intermediate.   Before entering administration at GHS and now GIS, my entire teaching career was at the Intermediate school here at Gainesville ISD.  I taught fourth grade math, science, and writing for two years and then I taught fifth grade math and social studies for 5 years.  During my time at Texas Woman's University working towards my Principal certification, I was blessed and humbled to win Outstanding Principal Intern from the College of Professional Education at TWU.  Gainesville ISD and all of my amazing mentors have invested so much faith, time, and effort in helping me grow as a teacher, leader, and individual.

I am so thankful for all of the opportunities I have been given and cannot wait to return the investment in our students, teachers, and community.
