Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies in Elementary Education from Texas A&M-Commerce ECE-6 Generalist K-12 English as a Second Language
Hello and Welcome! My name is Brennan Pemberton! I am so excited to be at Chalmers Elementary teaching Third Grade Reading and Writing. This will be my fifth year at Chalmers as well as my fifth year teaching. I am very excited to get this year started and start learning with my students.
Here are a few things about me; I graduated from Celina High School in 2008. I then went to community college at Collin College in Frisco, Texas, where I got my associates degree in 2012, soon after I went to Texas A&M-Commerce where I graduated in May 2016 with my Bachelors in Science in Interdiscipliary Studies of Elementary Education. In August 2016, I was hired as a aide at Pilot Point Intermediate where I was the 3rd and 4th grade inclusion aide as well as the PACE teacher, which is also known as the GT program. I believe that my past experience with various levels of students has really been a great benefit for myself, but especially my students.
When I am not at school you will find me with my beloved boyfriend Ryan and our two dogs Stella and Hondo. We love to be together with our dogs. We enjoy binge watching shows, spending time with family or trying new resturants around town. I also enjoy crafting and DIY projects.
This is going to be a great year at Chalmers Elementary. It's a GREAT day to be a Chalmers Leopard.
