Greetings,

I am excited for another school year to begin! This will be my fourth year teaching and my sixth year in Gainesville ISD. I count it a privilege to be a teacher and to have the opportunity to make an impact on our future leaders. I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design from the University of Indianapolis and received my Masters of Education in Teaching from the University of North Texas. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in the Graphic Design and Web Design industry for 6 years as a freelance designer. I still enjoy being creative and working on side projects when time allows. 

In my opinion, a school is a place where individuals can further their education and truly discover who they are. It’s a place where dreams are born. My desire is to facilitate a safe learning environment where your child can learn and grow both academically and personally. 

On a personal note, I was born and raised in the northeast corner of Indiana. While I have been in Texas for a little over 7 years now, I am still a HOOISER at heart! My husband, Joey, is originally from Saint Jo, Texas and we have lived in Gainesville for the past 6 years. I love calling Gainesville my home and exploring our unique city. In my free time, I enjoy watching the Cubs or Rangers play baseball, being outdoors, beekeeping, traveling, watching Netflix, reading a good book, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
