Classroom Rules

I will treat your children with the same love and respect I, my daughter, and family would like to be treated with. I will listen, learn, and engage in positive and loving conversations that empower my students and parents. Please know I am not a perfect person, but I strive to learn how to be a better person each and every day. I am always ready to communicate with parents and especially love to share all the positive happenings. I do have classroom rules because I believe structure and encouragement make for a wonderful school environment.

Rules:

1. Listen carefully.

2. Follow directions the first time given.

3. Work quietly. Do not disturb others who are working.

4. Respect others. Be kind with your words and actions.

5. Respect school and personal property.

6. Work and play safely.

Consequences

To create consequences I must first understand the child. I am a fair, considerate, and communicative educator who seeks parents and students when making decisions on behavior. Please know, all consequences will be thought out and given only to promote a healthy and safe learning environment. Your child is my first priority.
