Welcome to 6th grade. This is my 33rd year of teaching. I taught 26 years in Oklahoma and 6 years in Texas. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. I come from a family of teachers and it was the only thing I wanted to do when I graduated. My desire is for students to reach their fullest potential in life and go and do anything they set their minds to do. 

I was born in Austin ,TX , grew up in New Orleans, LA and spent most of my adult life in Oklahoma. I have been married for almost 40 years and we have 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. My husband Brent and I love to go for drives and travel. I enjoy reading and spending time with family. 

I look forward to getting to know each and every one of my students. We are going to have a great year.
