My name in Nancy Castorena. I have been a third grade teacher at Chalmers Elementary for 12 years. I am looking forward to a great year full of learning, excitement, and discovery! I am excited about getting to know each and every one of my students and you the parents/guardians.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have certificates in Early Childhood-6th grade and English as a Second Language. I will be communicating with you throughout the year concerning your child’s progress and about class events. We are a team working together to help your child have the best year ever! I will be teaching your child math and science. Ms.Dudenhoeffer will be teaching your child reading, writing,social studies and language.  We will strive to create the best learning environment for your child.  The expectations will be HIGH, but we will give direction and support every step of the way. This will be an amazing school year and I am looking forward to spending it with you!
