2025 Shining Stars

A celebration provided by the GISD Education Foundation

The Gainesville ISD Education Foundation honored the GHS Class of 2025 Top 10% at the Shining Stars Banquet on May 6, 2025. Each Shining Star Student selected one teacher from their time at GISD to be honored as their Distinguished Educator at this special event.

The students prepared a letter of gratitude addressed to their selected teacher, which was included in the program and read by the students at the banquet. In return, each educator prepared the same and read to the student at the banquet.
