Inclement Weather Procedure

BAD WEATHER INFORMATION
In the event bad weather prevents the opening of schools, an announcement will be released from the office of the Superintendent to the following radio and television stations: RADIO TELEVISION KGAF 1580 AM GAINESVILLE CABLE (3) WBAP KDFW FOX 4 820 AM KXII-TV (12) KTEN (10)  Also check our Social Media outlets at www.facebook.com/gainesvilleisd and our twitter page @gainesvilleisd.  
Notification will also be posted to our district website homepage and sent to all GISD parents and faculty through our automated phone call system.  Our official GISD social media facebook (@gainesvilleisd) and twitter (@gainesvilleisd) accounts will also post an update. These are public accounts and are viewable without having a personal account.
