School Board Policies Regarding Library Services
In compliance with state law, Gainesville ISD provides a public list of all library materials that have been donated to or are proposed to be procured by a school library. This list is available for a public comment period of 30 days before final board approval. All books on this list have been chosen by certified school librarians and meet our district selection criteria. Please note all books are not being purchased for all schools.
Fall Proposed Book List (available for review and comment from 9/15-10/15)
Parents, students, and/or community members living within the school district zone are welcome to provide comments/feedback on the materials by submitting through this feedback form. All comments received within the 30-day comment period will be reviewed and considered prior to finalizing the purchase.
