Welcome to the Gainesville High School Redcoat Band!

We provide a unique environment for students to enhance and broaden their music. After graduation, band members continue their passion and recognition of how the arts enrich our daily lives. The life lessons they learn in band instil leadership within their community as they become productive citizens.

You have an amazing opportunity to support the students by joining the Gainesville Band Boosters! You can also catch a glimpse behind the scenes and sign up to volunteer. Please fill out the volunteer application on the GISD website and wait for your approval before signing up for any volunteer positions.

Congratulations to senior Phoenix Kemp and junior Logan Davis for making All Region Jazz Band on Saturday in Krum. Phoenix made 3rd chair, 1st band and qualified for area tryouts. Logan made 2nd chair, 2nd band on bass trombone! Great job, Dr. Gay!
