Whether it's eating a healthy diet or being on social media and devices, it's always a good idea to create balance. Too much of one thing could be a bad thing. According to a survey conducted by Common Sense Media, on average children under 8 use about two and a half hours a day for social media. When they looked at tweens and teens, that time went up to almost five hours for tweens and over seven hours for teens. According to the survey, 73% of that time was spent on video watching, while 1% was spent on homework.
