Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Glick

Hello and welcome!  My name is Sandy Glick and I am excited to be teaching English language arts and math for 3rd grade Dual Language!

I made a career change to become a teacher after being inspired by the teachers I met through my work. Those teachers were enthusiastic and compassionate as they helped students overcome their educational struggles.  This same attitude is what you will see from me in my classroom as I want my students to become inspired and enthused to learn!

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies K-8 from Western Governors University, and a Texas certification for EC-6 Core Subjects.

When I am not at school, I enjoy being at home with my husband, Randy, our two dogs, Toby and Sydni, and our horses.  Our home has also been joined by a few cats throughout the years that like to hang around the barn; the most recent addition is one we call Shaggy.  We have two daughters, Briana and Jada, who are both in their twenties, and we are very proud of all they are accomplishing in their lives.  We also a have 4 year-old grandson, Isaiah, who is learning to have a silly sense of humor!

This is going to be a great year at Chalmers Elementary! It's a GREAT DAY to be a CHALMERS LEOPARD!
