Welcome to GISD! I am super excited to be starting my fourth year of teaching kindergarten.  This is my second year in GISD at Edison Elementary!  This is going to be a great year at Edison Elementary! 

I have a bachelors degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.  I obtained my EC-6 Texas teaching certificate five years ago.  This year will be my 21st wedding anniversary. We have 2 wonderful daughters.  My oldest is 13 and will be in 8th grade.  My youngest is in 11 and in 6th grade.  We also have 2 golden puppies (what were we thinking?).  Well, I say puppies, but they are 3 years old.  I have always called North Texas home.  I was born and raised in McKinney, TX, went to school in Arlington and now live in Denton County.  I enjoy spending my time with my family and our goldens.  Some other hobbies I enjoy are swimming, listening to music, dancing and crafting.

Drink: Sweet Tea or Dr. Pepper

Candy: M&Ms or Recess Pieces

Music: Contemporary Christian

Food:  Anything that can be wrapped in a tortilla.  I love tacos of all kinds.

Sweets: Cookies and cupcakes are my favorites.  I love Nothing Bundt Cakes.  I hear great things about Sweet Jayne's and hope to try them soon! 

Oh, and my favorite color is purple.  Maybe because my favourite college team wears purple! 

I am also a Disney fanatic.  I love Mickey and Minnie and most anything Disney!
