Hello!

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Jane Bohac. I have been a practicing RN for 28 years. My hospital experiences are in many areas, such as ICU/CCU, Labor & Delivery, the Operating Room, and the Recovery Room. Each of these were very rewarding, but I really loved working in the Cardiac Cath Lab. 

This will be my second year teaching in the CTE Health Science Program at Gainseville ISD.

I am so grateful to be a part of the growing Health Science Program at GISD! This impressive program is one of the many forward-thinking programs offered at GHS designed to assist your students in preparing for the medical field. I am so thrilled to see this program expand and advance your student's goals for his/her future as well as develop a passion for the rewarding medical field! 

A little about me... My husband Joe and I have three grown sons, two daughters-in-laws, and one marvelous GRANDDAUGHTER! I love exploring the outdoors, hiking and backpacking, climbing mountains in Colorado, gardening, canning, traveling to historic places with my husband, and enjoying holidays with family.

It is my hope that the GHS 2022-2023 school year is more remarkable than the 2021-2022 school year! GHS has so many exciting student-centered programs. All of these programs are filled with opportunities for your student's learning, growth, and success! There are exciting changes and positive energy at our GHS campus and we look forward to this new school year!
