Welcome to English I! I have been teaching since 2021. I graduated from Gainesville High many years ago, so I am a proud Leopard. I am thrilled to be able to teach at my alma mater. After high school, I went to UNT and earned my BA in English. While at UNT, I started working at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cooke County, and worked there for 25 years. I loved my time there. I have always loved working with young people.

My husband, John, and I have been married for 21 years and have one son, Seth. They are also graduates from  Gaineville High. We have one dog and a few cats.  I love traveling, being outdoors and literature. I hope to share this love with you.

I am looking forward to the school year.
