I am looking forward to teaching the 2022-2023 school year at Gainesville Junior High!

GO LEOPARDS!

   I have previously taught in Denison, Bridgeport, Breckenridge, and Lubbock for a cumulative total of 27 years! I have an elementary background, having taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades with one year as an instructional coach and three years as a dyslexia specialist. I love a new adventure, though, so moving to the junior high level makes my day! I will now be teaching Read 180 and System 44 to some fabulous 7th and 8th graders.

   My husband, William, and I are new to Gainesville, but we already love it here. We have two children, McKenna and Will. McKenna graduated from Texas Tech in 2019, and now works at Hillwood Properties in Alliance as a Retail Leasing Associate. My son is finishing school at Thrust Aviation, where he has gotten his pilot's license and is adding certifications to become a commercial pilot. I am so proud of both my children! We spend as much time as possible with them. We love outdoor activities, vacationing, and celebrating even the smallest accomplishments!
