I am beyond excited about being at Edison Elementary as a first year teacher. I walked the halls of Edison as a child and had some of the best teachers and I am happy to be back in the community where I grew up to be able to serve Gainesville students. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have always had a passion for teaching and chose to begin that journey this year. I am currently continuing my education to get my Masters Degree in Social work. I come from a family of educators who also work within the district and I can't wait for the year to begin. 

I have twins (a boy and a girl) who are 3 years old. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, traveling and spending time with my family. This year my goal is to create a space for students to explore their own learning styles.
