Ms. Suzane Tenorio Loya
I am a Bilingual Teacher with almost 50 children! Just kidding, only six are mine, and the rest I borrow from you every school year! As for many, life took many turns, and (like many) I chose to be a better me and took every opportunity to learn--anything and everything!
After my (own) oldest children were able to make their own sandwiches, I completed my Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Very quickly, my oldest rode the school bus and they participated in a community after-school program. It was then that I took advantage and completed my Masters degree, also in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. In between all of that, I obtained many certifications that...I'm not sure I'll ever use...hmmm...except for my Notary and maybe license to do my own taxes! Why so many and such different certifications, you ask? Because someone said I couldn't and I wouldn't. This has become my favorite thing to teach: DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN'T, NOT EVEN YOURSELF!
Born in Mexico, with limited resources and the obstacle of a second language, the youngest of 15 children, the only one to go to college and actually finish, making not-so-good choices...blah, blah, blah...Today, I am lucky to be a school teacher and continue my love for learning! Learning from all children and teaching them that self-motivation is the key to success. That attitude changes everything. That if you change your words, you WILL change your mindset!
"Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and Confidence." --Helen Keller
