Gainesville ISD has named Ms. Amber Rains as the district's next Director of Human Resources!
Ms. Rains currently serves as the Director of State and Federal Programs and the Director of Bilingual/ESL Language Programs. Following the retirement of Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Dr. LaCreasha Stille, Ms. Rains will be adding the Director of Human Resources to her responsibilities.
Ms. Rains is a true veteran of public education with 23 years of experience—15 of which have been dedicated right here to Gainesville ISD. Her journey in the classroom included teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades, as well as Middle School Special Education. After 8 years of teaching, she transitioned into administration and has since served as an Assistant Principal, Campus Principal, District Coordinator, and, most recently, as a Director.
Her deep understanding of our district's needs and her commitment to staff and student success make her the perfect fit to lead our HR department.
