GISD Contributes to United Way Campaign Goal

Gainesville ISD was proud to once again be a pacesetter for the CCUW campaign. On Thursday, November 7, district and campus leaders attended the Celebration luncheon, in which the grand fundraising total for the campaign was announced. The pacesetter total was announced at the Kickoff in September and GISD was able to announce a record-breaking donation of more than $19,000. As a result, at the Celebration luncheon on Thursday, GISD was able to proudly accept more awards than ever before:

  1. Pacesetter company award

  2. Head Start-Small Business Award (100% participation)

  3. Special Services- Small Business Award (100% participation)

  4. Lee Intermediate-Presidential award (50% increase over last year’s giving)
