Megan Chordas Named GHS Assistant Principal

Megan Chordas has been hired as an Assistant Principal at Gainesville High School. She replaces Tracy Vineyard who has accepted the position of Principal at Lindsay Elementary.

Ms. Chordas comes to GISD from Denton ISD where she most recently served as and Assistant Principal.  She brings 17 years of experience in education which includes three years in administration.   She has experience in teaching at the middle school level, as an alternative educational programs coordinator, a campus testing coordinator, and an Assistant Principal.  Prior to Denton, she worked in Pasadena, Coppell, and Little Elm. 

Megan holds both a bachelor's degree and master’s degree from Texas Tech University in addition to a Masters in School Administration from Lamar University.
