Mrs. Jacqueline Dudenhoeffer has been named the Edison Elementary Assistant Principal beginning the 2023-2024 school year.

Jacqueline has been at GISD for 7 years, teaching second and third grade and most recently as an instructional coach working with Pre-K - 4th grade teachers at Edison and Chalmers.  During her time as a teacher, she was able to obtain a Masters degree in educational administration from TAMU. She was the recipient of a grant for bilingual leaders who desired to move into administrative roles.

Jacqueline and her husband Justin are lifelong residents of Gainesville and are proud graduates of Gainesville High School.  They are parents to three boys: Evert-5, Franco-3, and Calum-2.

Dr. Tracy Vineyard has been named the Gainesville Junior High Assistant Principal beginning the 2023-2024 school year. The previous Junior High AP, Tia Scott, has moved into the role of a curriculum coordinator for the district.

Tracy has been in education for 21 years and this will be her 13th year as an administrator.  Two of those years were as an AP at Gainesville High School.  Dr. Vineyard holds a Bachelor’s in Biology, a Master’s in Educational Administration, and a PhD in School Leadership, all from the University of North Texas.

Tracy and her husband have three children and they reside in Gainesville.

Megan Gabriel has been named Assistant Principal at Gainesville High School.  She fills the vacancy left when Dr. Kevin Jackson moved into a Principal role outside of the district.

Megan came to GISD last year and served as an Instructional Coach.  Although this is her first year in administration, she has been in education for 16 years.
