FFA judging season-off to a great start!

We started our judging contest season this week, traveling to Cisco college on Monday. The vet science team finished 8th overall and Desiree Stephens secured an 11th place overall score.

On Thursday, our teams traveled to Tarleton State University to compete in the largest invitational CDE in the state with over 10,000 contestants.

The Vet Science team finished the day ranked #36 out of 172 teams, and finished 6th against teams in our area. Desiree Stephens cracked the top 63 scores out of 918 contestants, and all members of the team finished in the top 300. (Marian Motomochi, Katelyn Murphy, Alex Medina)

The poultry team finished the day ranked #64 and Natalie Putnam turned in a perfect score on the placing classes portion of the contest. (Kyleigh Chaffer, Julissa Medina, David Huerta)

The horse team, made up of all Freshman, placed 124. Andres Coronado aced 2 of the 8 classes with a perfect score! (Celeste Buenos Aires, Jasmin Vargas, Keely Wagoner)
