Attention Virtual Learning Students & Parents

The GISD Instructional Technology Coordinator will be hosting a Technology Test Drive on Tuesday, August 18, from 4-6pm. The purpose of this optional "test drive" is to verify that you can log in to the online learning platform on your device. If you have not already received your login information from the OVAL teacher, you will receive it by this meeting. Log in any time and go to this link:

In addition, a virtual learning help desk will be available beginning August 25 & 27 and will continue throughout the next several weeks.

Parent/Student Help Desk Schedule:

August 25 & 27 (10am, 2pm, 6pm)
September 1 & 3 (10am, 2pm, 6pm)
September 8 & 10 (10am, 2pm, 6pm)

Also, the District has issued all available student Chromebooks. More have been ordered but are delayed due to high demand. When more become available for checkout, parents will be notified of that process. OVAL parents who are still in need of a device will need to contact the campus to make arrangements to receive lesson packets until more devices are available.
