Wednesday was a BIG day for our United Sound band students! These new musicians from Mr. Firth’s class have been mentored by the Jazz Band students every Wednesday after school for the past month. Last week they were able to pick out their instrument of choice and on Wednesday, they got to play it for the first time! United Sound is a unique opportunity brought to GHS for the first time this year. Later in the year, these students will perform in concert with their peer mentors. What an amazing opportunity for all of these students! For more information on the United Sound program, visit www.unitedsound.org.
